Parking Enforcement in North East Oxford |
||
|
We've recently been carrying out enforcement around North East Oxford following concerns about vehicles being parked on corners, near junctions and across pavements. While it might only seem like a quick stop, parking in these locations can create real problems. Vehicles parked on blind corners make it harder for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians to see each other, increasing the risk of a collision. Cars blocking the pavement can also force people into the road, including parents with pushchairs, wheelchair users and those with mobility issues. Over the last few weeks, officers have been speaking with drivers and taking enforcement action where necessary. Please be aware that tickets and fines can be issued for vehicles parked dangerously or causing an obstruction. We'd ask everyone to park considerately and think about how their vehicle may affect other road users before leaving it. Thank you for helping us keep North East Oxford's roads and pavements safe for everyone. North East Oxford Neighbourhood Policing Team | ||
